Skill And Skill Acquisition
Good day my dear and lovely steemians today i will love to enlighten you on a topic but before i start i will want you to know about my day. My day was bright and I could also remember that on ninth August was my birthday which i was so excited,I received so many gifts from @okere-blessing, relatives, family and friends. futhermore I wish myself prosperity, long life and all the best wishes in the world. Know going into the day business I will love to write on a topic skill and skill acquisition.
Skill acquisition can be defined in so many ways but before i start i will love to go further explaining things about skill and skill acquisition. When we have skill we can do a particular thing well because we have learnt how to do it and have practised it. For instance some people are skilled at working with computers, connection of light and others that have good sport skill and know we have to know the meaning of skill and skill acquisition.
Skill can be defined as a particular thing, or hardwork one can do most.
Skill acquisition can also be described as the act of learning skills.
Types of skills.
There are types of skills we have to know these are:
Labour skill: This has to do with skill that we need for our job and work. For example carpenter, tailoring, farming etc.
Information and technology skills: This has to do with skills such as computer, desktop publishing and other websites.
Life skills: These are skills we need for our daily lives, or everyday. Example problem solving, decision making etc.
Social skills: These are skills that helps to interact with others For example communication and language.
Why skills are important.
Skills are important in every aspect or situation in life, including work place these include:
Decision making: This is the act of choosing between two courses of action. we can plan decision making by reasoning or thinking. For instance people decide on how to create a meal plan or who will be their family life partner.
Learning to live together: Life, social and people skills are all needed for people or family to live together happily.
Taking risks: People should learn to take risks which is also a skill we often need in today's world. People think when taking risks is dangerous and negative but however it can lead to new and useful ideas.
CONCLUSION
I conclude in saying that skill acquisition are the most important and common things in our lives we need to know and learn how to decide on your decision making which also helps to improve our family living and our lives.
