Kids Education: 10 Things kids needs to achieve at age of 10-12|| 10% to @steemkidss

Hello creative minds and kids lovers out there, Good morning from my end, it’s been a beautiful week already and hope the same y’all are experiencing

With great happiness from my heart I want to thank each and every member supporting the steemkids community and helping to enlighten the kids of the things they need to know.

I wanna share something I’ve come to realize that while I was a kid I’ve been deprived and never given the opportunity to know handle them. You know that whenever you miss a moment and you fortunately outgrow that moment, that feeling of ensuring that the persons currently enjoying that moment you outgrew get the best of their time spent while enjoying the moment.

I still remember as a child I wasn’t allowed in the kitchen and Whenever I asked why I’m not allowed in the kitchen the answer was not given, the same thing whenever I am playing around with other kids living around my environment, so for this reasons I wanna share my own idea of what the parents should help their kids be aware of before they outgrow

1 Sex Education: This is common in our environs today and funny enough most parents finds it a taboo to make their children have the knowledge concerning sexuality and in this case we find most cases of unwanted pregnancies in little children and also cases of sex abuse
I was gonna say that the kids ranging from 10-12 years of age should have a good knowledge of sex education

We can understand that kids learns faster and also get easily influenced by peers and so doing they might get mislead but if they are aware of this they’ll be protected by the decisions they make and also the kind of peers they keep

2 Learning to Cook: This sounds very easy but most kids are not allow to try something for themselves and which equally affects them in the future, I would say that the kids needs to know how to make simple dishes for themselves to help them build their cooking experience against their future.

3 Laundry 🧺: This isn’t to help mom, dad or reduce the bills of paying the laundry man but also helps them keep the privacy during menstrual flows or wet dreams

4 Public transportation: in this case you’ll have to teach them how to make use of the public means of transportation to help them know some routes and locations around them, it also helps them secure a safe movement when they guardians aren’t around

5 Phones usage: Kids are supposed to have a good knowledge on how to operate a cellphone or home cell phone not only to text but to call and reach out people and improving their communication skills, also making some personal internet research of their assignments

6 Emergency Response: This is important as against minor injuries, fire outbreaks or robbery, the kids should know how to use the emergency line (911) and also making use of first aid for injuries

7 Piggy Banks/ personal Bank accounts: At 12 kids needs have the knowledge of making savings and investing the little money they have maybe from parents and not just spending it all

8 Alarming: kids needs to be time conscious and also waking and getting themselves prepared for their daily chores

9 Personal Hygiene: Kids needs to know how to clean their rooms and also engage in environmental sanitation

10 Pets keeping: Kids needs to learn how to take responsibilities of taking care of another living thing which shows compassion
