Hello Once again great steemians, it's your boy @itomoabasi. Trust you are all doing fine. I'm here again on this great platform to tell you all about my town (four places in my town).
I stay at Abak Local Government Area. Abak is one of the local governments in Akwa Ibom state, Akwa Ibom state is a state in Nigeria.
Formerly known as De-might pharmacy, now NIMIMOG Pharmacy is the first Pharmacy in Abak and is owned by the first pharmacist which is my mum Pharm(Mrs) Nene Udom.
The address is No. 1 Obio Ndot street. It is just after the Federal High Court, Abak. The pharmacy is known for its professionality. The motto of the pharmacy is "service with a professional touch."
This is one community pharmacy that is more concerned with the welfare of its indigene than just profit as there are lots of times set aside for free medicals. The aged are so much in love with this Pharmacy, in fact, the community at large.
This is just before the Abak Police Station. It is one of the major landmarks of that area, fully functional. The quietest part of the street. Parking of cars, hawking, and loitering are not allowed around its surrounding. For security purposes, I wasn't allowed to take pictures of the court.
As already stated, this station is just after the Federal High Court. They are in charge of keeping Abak safe and free from criminal activities, investigations, and all responsibilities of the force in an area. To avoid harassment, I couldn't take pictures of the police station.
This is one of the most significant places in town. As we all know, a market is where the exchange of goods and services for money takes place. Abak market is one of the biggest markets in the state as a lot of people in the locality venture mainly into trading.
This has made the market always busy and booming. There are selected days for what is regarded as"Big Market" or "market day" It is after every three days from the last market day.
This is where most people buy and sell their food items when it's not market day. It's another very busy place in Abak.
This is one of the most facilitated hospitals in Abak. It's a privately owned hospital.
