Thediarygame for 16-03-2024: My Day In Words and Pictures

Morning

Everyday is completely different from any other day. A new day always comes with new hope and possibilities. I woke up today at 7:30 AM. I did my basic hygiene. I drank tea without sugar. I went to garden and water the plants. Today I saw beautiful garden in the neighbourhood.

I had roti, omlate and milk in the breakfast. There were two tablets in one poket of medicine strip. It is very surprising and happened first time. I have no clue how this can happen.

I read newspaper for an hour. I was told to shop some vegetables and groceries. I went to market. I bought vegetables like Green chilli, Tomato, Capsicum, onion, ginger, peas and patol ( pointed gourd). I also bought some puffed rice, coffee sache, and red chilli powder.

Yesterday I saw an Idol of goddess Maa Chandi in ground of Behala Club. So I again visited the place. But the Puja will start tomorrow. There are different forms and name of same god and godess. I didn't know that Puja is held for last thirty five years. Same god and godess are worshipped at different times by different people. This idol has ten hands like Durga. Each hand holds different objects including some weapons to destroy evil power. This is not a conventional image.

Though they are made of clay. It is first step of any puja to consecrate the idol that is "establishment of the image in its vital breadth".

Afternoon

I returned home. I took a shower. I had my lunch with rice, chicken and dal with ladies finger. There are three boiled Indian gooseberry seen above rice.

I had some fruits afterwards. I took a nap. I had a cup of coffee with biscuit. I went out for a stroll. I got one sound speaker repaired from local technician.

Night

I visited another temple where the temple authority is inaugurating same Chandi Puja with a traditional idol which is familiar to us.

I returned home. I watched one Bengali movie called Projapati (Butterfly symbol of marriage). I had my dinner with roti and sabji.

I had my medicines at bedtime.
