Who is a Listener ?

The simple answer i have for this question is that you are that listener. I said you are listener because listening is a compulsory thing we do day by day.

We listen most of the time by reading and there are also occasions when we have to listen to a tape recorders, radios, televisions and videos, these are all different ways of listening. As students and pupils, when you are at lecture halls or classroom, you really need the skill of listening accurately so as to understand so as to understand the information conveyed to you.

Well, I cannot tell where you are reading this article from, whether from your home, your placenof work, in isolated place or inside a vehicle. Wherever you and whatever you may be doing, the most important thing is that listening takes place on a daily basis and moment by moment.

A listener is anyone capable of listening to whatever is said and if possible, participates in what him or her listened by giving hisborbher own opinion as demanded to be done. You the reader of this article, you are a listener.
At this point, let us now see why is it important to listen.

Why Must you and l Listen ?

You and I as listeners must listen because listening is something we cannot escape in our day to day activity. As said earlier there are maby compulsory moments we must listen. For example, we listen to our friends while they are talking. We listen to people as they are giving us directions when we are lost in an unknown places. You listen to lecturers as they are lecturing. We Listen also to our parents at home. We Listen to a telephone conversation and ultimately we listen to our creator.

Conclusion

You see, it is very important to listen because it can save our life. The big question was who is a listener and the simple and straightforward answer was that you are a listener. There are moments in life and in our day to day activities that we can't do without listening.
