Word Chest | Week 2 | Homonyms
Homo words consists of two words that sound the same but have different meanings. For example, "left" has two different meanings one in the direction sense and the other in leaving context. "night" also has two different meanings - the time of day and a dark period. Other homonyms can be found in our dictionary.

These words have the following qualities:
- Spelled the same
- Mean different things
- Are usually pronounced differently or alike
- Can be used together in a sentence, but have different meanings
- Are often confused with one another
- Are not always pronounced correctly
- Are unique to English
- Can be difficult to remember for some people.
So i will today define to you meanings of some of the Homonyms i know and have to do them for my homework

Plain | I got a plain dress and attached some mirrors to make it look stylish | The plain was full of Oak trees |
Table | She broke the wooden table that came with her furniture | She settled her information in the table format. |
Fine | She was not doing fine but she lied anyways | Her tenant fined her because she did not pay her rent on time |
Vice | Due to her vices the neighbors called the police. | Either she would kill the thief or vice versa. |
Sentence | My teacher asked me to make sentence using the given words | Court sentenced her to death because of the dirty crime she committed. |
