Why steemit is a long term investment for kids

in Steem Kids & Parents3 years ago

For a young person, learning how to use Facebook is notoriously difficult. You have to post a photo, you have to talk about your day, and there's always so much going on in your newsfeed that it's hard to keep track of anything.

The same goes for Twitter—it's repetitive and almost too easy to forget what you're supposed to be tweeting about sometimes. But Steemit is different from both platforms in its simplicity and ultimately allows kids the opportunity to take ownership of their own content: if they like it then it gets upvoted into visibility and if they don't like it then readers will notice that too!

Are kids ready for Steemit?

A lot of kids are already on Facebook or Twitter, so it's not necessarily more difficult to get them to use Steemit. It really comes down to the fact that kids can have poor self esteem if they feel they have no control over their social media accounts. So, what's so good about Steemit?

With Facebook or Twitter, users are always reliant on other people liking their posts in order for them to get more followers. With Steemit, every time you post you are putting your own work out there for people to see—it's up to you to become popular.

How kids can make money on Steemit

It's hard enough getting kids to learn how to use Facebook or Twitter in a way that helps them achieve their goals. How can parents teach kids the intricacies of the cryptocurrency exchange, when it's hard enough for adults? It really comes down to trying not to be too pushy when encouraging them, but ultimately the child has control over what they want for themselves. For instance, if they want money then they can start earning it but it needs to be their idea for them to really follow through with it. teaching them how to track their own spending! But Steemit is actually a great way for kids to get used to handling money in a new and slightly scary environment, without being able to touch it with their hands.

Now that they have an idea of how things work, you can show them that if they want more money then they need to do the tasks that will bring them more cash. When kids learn how to earn cash from home, they'll understand the value of money. Allowing them space to make mistakes will also teach them valuable lessons about life, which is priceless.
