Celebrating World day against child labour,by@hensmart.
Hello steemkids,as today is marked,world day against child labour, I thought it nice to also celebrate with you. June 12th has always been a day set aside to commemorate the fight against child labor.Some of us might come from a very wealthy influential background, while others are still being affected by this pandemic of child abuse.
According to international Labour Organization (ILO)," an estimate of 160 million children are still affected that is 1 out of 10 children are being traumatized by this abnormaly." Source
However a concerted effort has been made worldwide to nib this monstrous act in the bud. As a result the fifth global conference on the elimination of child labour that was organized by International Labour Organization and hosted in Durban in South Africa focus on the following:"to assess the situation,
discuss best practices and solution
and identify what needs to be done to end the act." Source
Also solution was proffered on what needs to be done to eradicate the situation, which is education.This was in a bid to meet UN Sustainable development goal 8.7: eradicating child labour by 2025." Source
As the war against child labour continue to rage, I on my part participated in the movement.I arranged group of children and with our placards sensitising our community on what child labour is, it's consequences as well as the solution. This was met with great approval as lots,of parents didn't know that such movement exist. Some were not even aware that their wards or children were even subjected to the act.It was really a great emancipation and enlightenment.I therefore encourage all steemkids,lovers of steemkids and all steemians to stand together and crush this pandemic of child labour once and for all.

Hi @hensmart thank you for sharing this with us child labour is one of those things that need to be removed in this country, so many are fighting to eradicate it but to no avail hopefully there will come a time children will live free from child abuse. But next time include more topics like educate our kids on how to smartly respond when the see another kids being abused, it will be of benefit to them since the community if for kids. Also complete your achievements tasks so as to learn more things in steemit, you will also learn how to format your post using markdowns styles.
