Yes, I think artificial intelligence is really intelligent. Artificial intelligence can come up with brilliant ideas on its own. It can create things. Artificial intelligence can come up with innovative solutions to problems. From coding problems, to complex mathematical problems and even real life problems, AI is capable of providing solutions.
Artificial intelligence has the capacity to do things that most humans won't be able to easily do.
Can AI offer solutions to healthcare
I believe that AI can offer solutions to healthcare.
First of all, AI can help in early diagnosis. If people have symptoms and don't know what it could mean, AI could help them come up with a likely diagnosis until they meet a healthcare professional.
Also, AI can help with suggesting hospitals that patients can easily access. AI can suggest hospitals that are better equipped to treat the patient's condition.
Furthermore, AI can assist in keeping a record of each patient's health history. This will aid in proper treatment.
Can AI at any point in time be a tool for misinformation
AI can very much be a tool for misinformation. AI can manipulate photos. People with malicious intent could use AI to come up with fake photos of someone doing something the person didn't really do.
The same goes for voice recordings. Malicious people could use AI to mimick and manipulate people's voices so it would be like they said something they never said. The excellent abilities of AI makes it a target for use in misinformation.
Can AI be a risk to jobs and humanity?
AI is a risk to our jobs. There are already cases of people being replaced by AI in their workplace. The influence of AI is affecting all kinds of jobs. Since AI has the capability to do what humans do even better and efficiently, employers are catching on to the trend of integrating AI into work processes, thereby replacing humans. The fact that AI can do what multiple people can do and it's cost effectiveness makes it attractive to employers.
I do not think AI can be a risk to humanity. AI was created by humans and we humans have control over it.
Do you think computers can be made to approach the level of intelligence found in humans?
I do not think AI can be made to reach the level of intelligence of humans. Humans are complex. No matter how good AI is, it can never match the overall intelligence of humans.
Can intelligence really be artificially made?
Yes, I believe intelligence can be artificially made. AI can learn new things and also come up with great ideas. It is proof enough that intelligence can be artificially made. AI is smart to the point where it can solve really complex problems.
Conclusion
AI is revolutionary. It is an amazing technology that has made things easy for humanity. However, it should be regulated. There has to be some checks and balances as regards the use of AI so that unscrupulous individuals won't continue utilizing it for their malicious activities.
