Hello amazing members of steemkids community. I believe that everyone is doing just fine.

It is my delight to bring to you all an amazing craft idea. In this write up, I'm going to show you all how to do beautiful embroidery two colored flower using wool and few items.

ITEMS USED

Red wool
White wool
Cotton bud
Scissors
Needle
Bead

Below, I'm going to list the steps I followed to achieve this beautiful flower above. You can try it out if you want to, and you will achieve same or similar result if you follow the steps closely.

STEP ONE

Measure out about 50cm - 60cm of both the red and white wool. Join the two colors by tying them together. After tying them and making sure that the knot is firm, then cut off the excess wool just before the knot, and the two colors will be on a single rope.

STEP TWO

Cut off the cotton wool on one side of the cotton bud. Then place the middle of the joined wool at the end of the cotton bud, the very end you trimmed off the cotton wool. At this point you have the red wool on one side, the white wool on the other side and the cotton bud at middle. Twist and roll the red wool on the cotton bud, then twist and roll the white wool, then to red and to white.

Continue the process until you get to the top of cotton bud. At this point, you must have twisted and rolled each color between 15 - 20 times.

STEP THREE

Tie the two ends of the wool firmly on the cotton bud and make a knot to secure the work. Cut off the excess end of the one color, like the white color, then pass the red wool in the needle's eye. After that, put the needle in the straw of the cotton wool and pull the cotton wool out, by so doing, the needle and the red wool will pass through the opening the cotton bud created and secure the embroidery.

STEP FOUR

Bring the two ends of the embroidery and make a round shape, sew to secure the ends and cut off the excess red wool. Repeat the process four more times to get additional four round shapes.

STEP FIVE

Get needle and pass red wool in the eye of the needle. Then join the five round shapes together from the knotted side, and tie to secure. Then attach bead at the middle of the flower and you will get an amazing hand embroidery beautiful flower.
