Edition #6|| I Love to take photos|| My food

Hello fellow steemians. I hope we are all doing great and having a wonderful weekend. This is my article for the i love to take photo contest. Whereas this weeks topic is centered on the food we consume daily. Which will expose us to the different types of food people eat around the world.

Food as we all know, is anything edible which could be in the form of liquid or solid, and when taken in, we get nutrients from the food. Almost all foods contains nutrients in them. In order to survive as humans we have to be eating or taking in food, for they provide us with all the necessary nutrients a human needs in order to be alive.

THE FOOD I WILL BE TAKING PHOTO OF AND TALKING ABOUT

I decided to take the photos of two meals or foods which is popular know in my country. These two food are jollof rice and banku.

THE JOLLOF RICE

This is one of the food or meal i like. It is a delicacy which is easy to prepare. It is a meal with some nutrients in it and gets prepared or cooked within some little amount of time. The jollof rice here in the picture was actually prepared by my self. In order to increase it in nutrients i needed to add some beans and spaghetti into it.
Basically when we talk about jollof rice, it comprises or is made up of rice and stew mix together and cooked together as well. But in my case here i decided to add somethings into it to increase it in nutrients.

DO I HATE OR LOVE IT

I love the jollof rice because it contains some good nutrients in it. Also it is easy to be prepare and enjoyed within some few amount time.
The jollof is basically rice. So when you are to talk about the nutrients found in it, it is just the kind or types of nutrients found in rice. But in the case of my jollof rice, i have added beans and spaghetti into it to make it more nutritious.
So i love the jollof the type of jollof i have prepared and i think i will need to find a name for that combination. 😂

THE BANKU

This is a local meal prepared from maize and cassava doughs. With this kind of combinations you get the necessary one needs from food. This one here is not easily prepared as in the case of the jollof. Due to the mixture of doughs you will have to spend enough time on it. The banku is eaten or taken together with a soup. The soup can be made from your choice of combinations of vegetables, meat products and the necessary food products used in preparing soup. As the result of the banku being taken along with the soup, it makes the banku very rich in nutrients.

DO I LOVE OR HATE IT

Due to the way the banku is being prepared with the numerous amount of nutrients in it, it makes me love it. The corn and maize dough found in them is rich in carbohydrates which is very essential for more energy. Mostly people here take in banku when they are to perform some hard work or labour. It is also the type of food which taken in, take a long time before one feels like eating again.

In conclusion, food can be anything edible either in the form of liquid or solid. Food is what keeps humans alive and strong. It is a must to eat food if one wants to be alive. There are countless varieties of food in every country in the world. Some of which when seen one sometimes wonder whether this really is food.
