Hey everyone. This lecture is really educative, and with that i would like to do my assignment for @fredquantum.
Moving on;

Well to my understanding of the lecture, which is based on play to earn is that, it guarantees players the potential to acquire certain digital items that could have real monetary value. They earn these digital items by participating in online games. These items usually come in the form of NFTs or a cryptocurrency token.
The NFTs can be any digital form of entertainment like, video, audio, picture and many more. Whiles the cryptocurrency is the traditional cryptocurrency we all know about. You will have to buy the token and then breed it to increase in price, like get a profit on the actual price and then you can choose to sell them to other players or in an outside marketplace. Also, players can create value for themselves, other players, and the game’s developers. In return, they can be rewarded with various digital assets. These include additional in game items, new characters or some kind of cryptocurrency token.
So basically, play to earn is a digitalised way of the gaming system whereas you get a reward in the foem of monetary for playing.

What is then is an NFT or NFTs? It is the abbreviation of the words Non-fungible tokens. NFTs are cryptographic digital assets, which could be in the form of audio, picture artwork or video that each have uniquely identifiable codes and works on the blockchain network. With it codes based or works on blockchain it renders it not being allowed to be replicated or forged in any way. Meaning it can't be tempered by hackers.
NFTs can be created by any individual, that is if only he or she has the required tool for doing that. They can be in the form of a digital artwork, virtual real estate in a game, collectible Pokemon cards.

Moving on to the second question, which is asking about how could one earn rewards or tokens through playing. This is basically simple.
It works this way;
1.First of all a players will have buy or aquire some virtual items within the game play.

2.The next thing will be for the player to receive the items, along with the ability to increase their value through actively playing. Some of these abilities could be weapons, spells, skins, virtual properties or land, etc.

3.After which players can then be ready to play their game. They earn rewards as they play the game. These could be in the form of cyptocurrency tokens or some abilities within the game play.

I love pets indeed but as at now i don't have one. The last time i had one was in my basic school. I was still young by then. I am planning of getting one soon. My favourite type of pet is a cat.

Lastly, with regards to the choice i should choose, i will personally go with the second scenario. Simple because with an NFT token( that is the dog) it doesn't really require much attention as compared to a live dog. Also the NFT can't be manipulated or stolen but the real dog could die or be stolen at any point in time. The NFT dog could live long and grow along too with it amount of money on it.
That is actually my reason for choosing the second scenario.

In conclusion, play to earn is just like having fun and being payed for it.
