It's my pleasure to be here once again and participate in this Contest, thanks to our amazing community for organizing such a wonderful contest that will most especially our esteem kids to see that we are in the 21st century that technology helps people to be enlighten and also digitalized our world.

TECHNOLOGY HAD DONE MORE GOOD THAN BAD

My view in this topic is that technology had done more good than bad and I have this view point to support it.

Introduction:

I will start by defining what technology is, technology is the organization of knowledge for practical purposes or scientific knowledge that is use practically to solve problems or invent some tools that are useful to humans e.g internet etc.

In today's world everything is all about technology and it has made positive impact on people's life, technology really changed and makes things easier for people, like communicating with people that are far away from you and even seeing them and discuss as if you are together face to face, making conference call that join everybody you want to talk to, the use of Skype, Whatsapp, duo, messenger etc to make video calls, the use of zoom, Google meet etc to attend meetings, conduct interviews etc, the use of social media to post pictures sent messages etc like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram discord, and Steemit etc, It has given us the apportunity to travel by air,land and water, we can go to unknown destination without asking anyone about our way but with the help of GPRS
technology made all these things possible.

1. PHONE

It is a mobile device that aid communication / information across distance.

Phone

USES :

• We use phone to communicate to people by making calls and sending messages

• We use phone to participate in this Contest

• We use phone to watch movies and listen to music

• We use phone to access Internet

• We use phone to read news and Know what is happening around us and all over the world

• We use phone to snap pictures

• We use phone to carry out research

• We use phone to type some documents

• We use phone to save important documents so that if you lost the one at hand you can print it again and use without lamenting.

• We use phone to know where we are going through GPRS

• We use phone to transfer money to others through mobile application

ADVANTAGES :

• It makes communication easier

• It helps to know where people are and when to meet them instead of going to the house severally and met their absent.

• It send information faster

• It prevents missing information /messages lost

• It safe time and money

• It facilitate quick response from both sender and receiver

• It makes life enjoyable, fun and easier to go on

• We can use phone to fine solution to our problems, no wonder they said there's no life without phone.

2. TELEVISION

It is an electronic device / communication medium that can transmit visual images and sound.

Television

USES :

• We listen to all kinds of news nationally and internationally, watch movies and music at the comfort of our home.

• We watch television and listen to radio anywhere we are in the world.

ADVANTAGES :

• It safe money from buying newspaper on daily basis

• It safe time of going out to buy newspaper

• It helps us to know what is happening around the whole world.

• It serve as an entertainment

• It relieve stress

• It helps us to know other peoples culture and norms

• It helps us to learn new ideas

• It makes life enjoyable

3. FAN

It's an electronic device that moves air, cool people and machinery.

USES :

• It's use to circulate air in the rooms

• It's use to cool motors and machines

• It cool and dry people

• It's use for drying materials

• It's use to ventilate a room

ADVANTAGES :

• It's cost effective, cheaper to purchase and easier to maintain.

• It does not release gases that pollutes the environment and cause harmful effect to people.

• It cool the room and promote sleep

• It dry someone and makes you sleep comfortably.

4. REFRIGERATOR

It is an electrical appliances use in keeping food fresh and safe.

USES :

• We use it to preserve food

• We use it to keep food fresh

• We use it to keep food cold

• We use it to keep water and other drinks cold

• We use it to freeze water to ice and use it for other purposes

ADVANTAGES :

• It prevents food spoilage

• It prevents food waistage

• It safe food

• It safe time and stress of cooking food everyday

• It safe money

5. WASHING MACHINE

It is electrical appliances that wash clothes

Washing machine

USES :

• We use it to wash dirty clothes

• We use it to wash heavy clothes that we can not wash with hands

ADVANTAGES :

• It washes plenty clothes at a time

• It safe time

• It safe energy

• It makes work easy and comfortable

• It gives women enough time to enter labour market

• It makes life easier and enjoyable

MY ADVICE

Since the benefits, advantages and good effect of technology outweigh the disadvantages and bad effect of it, we should keep and continue using them.

CONCLUSION

Technology have a lot of positive impact on our lifestyle, makes work easier, and the world enjoyable to go on. Information and communication technology (ICT) and internet are really helpful because if they kidnapp someone now they can use the kidnappers call and trace the location of the person.
The use of camera footage to know the person that steal or do something else and true caller that reveals one identity when you make call, meet with investors all over the world, pursue our carrier and advertise our skills for people everywhere to patronise.
So technology really broaden our knowledge and it is a nice thing that happens to us we should continue using them wisely.
