Today I want to take you on how to avoid burns which is very dangerous to the health.

Another causes of burns apart from those aforementioned in the video are:
- Chemical
- Acid
- Hot water
- Fried oil
Things to avoid
• Do not allow Children to use kerosine stove
• Do not play with fire
• Do not play with hot water
• Do not give Children hot tea
• Keep chemical away from children
• Do not keep fuel in the house
• Do not keep cylinder where Children can reach and always check for lickage
• Do not allow Children to play around while cooking or frying
• When turning hot water for bathing mix with cold water before taking it out to bathroom
Immediate treatment for burns
- Remove the child from the source of burn
- Poor cool or luke warm water on it but not ice water
- Do not poor oil or salt
- Cover it with clean dressing
- Take the child to the hospital
