How would you describe Civil Engineering to your peers?

civil engineering is responsible for everything around us. we are talking about the construction of every small and huge buildings to departmental stores, our houses ,hospitals ,roads and every other thing we step on or we live in.

civil engineers are those who make possible to build these buildings roads and every other thing around us from swings to stairs. In our simple house i can see water system running , drainage , Sverige, stairs , even our whole house is based on civil engineering ideas, techniques and principals of civil engineering to maintain the system accurately. In current times civil engineering is divided into many other branches as per infrastructure maintenance, transportation and construction etc. As a whole civil engineering is the branch of engineering which help us to maintain our life with convenience and safety as per our requirements.

What different branches of Civil Engineering did we talk about in this lesson?

we talked about the two different branches of civil engineering which are construction engendering and structural engineering. What i have learnt in the class about these two types of engineering is given below :

construction engineering / used for

construction engineering is the application of engineering principles and techniques to design, build, maintain, and operate structures and systems. It is a major field in its own right, with an extensive body of knowledge that can be applied in a variety of settings. Construction engineering is also closely related to the other engineering disciplines, including civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and construction management.
It is basically the design , plan, and the managing system of civil engineering .

structural engineering / used for

structural engineering is the application of engineering principles and techniques to the design, analysis, and construction of physical structures such as buildings, bridges, roads, and aircraft. It is a major field in its own right with an extensive body of knowledge that can be applied in a variety of settings. Mechanical engineering is the application of engineering principles and techniques to the design, analysis, manufacture, operation, and maintenance of engines, machines, and systems. It is a major field in its own right with an extensive body of knowledge that can be applied in a variety of settings.
it is the basically practical work based which deals with the actual physical model of any thing created by the engineers.

How would you plan YOUR island city, from start to finish.

if i have an island i got the chance to make the infrastructure of that particular place first and foremost i manage the water supply and water disposing system in a way that would not destroy its beauty and authenticity.

second i will look for the available eatable foods to live life if there is none i would go for hunting.
third, i will go for shelter, means i will draw a sketch of the place which is quite simple but elegant to live in and safe as well if that's an island i am pretty sure there might be some deadly animals and insects too . then i go to look the right place to set the location for the house . then i collect all the necessary items to built my house and i will not damage any of its natural beauty or lives in there i will not move even a single bird's nest.
