Well the lessons in steemkidss are quite interested, and I once again will love to participate in the social studies lesson about natural resources.
Define natural resources in your own words
In my own understanding these are resources that are drawn from nature, and as the word natural says it is not made by man or any artificial source.
These are materials extracted from earth.
Mention some natural resources that are peculiar to your country.
There are so many natural resources in Nigeria and there are numerous to Mention but i will mention and explain some of them.
Natural gas: this is made up from the mixture of some gaseous hydrocarbons including methane in addition to some small amount of alkanes.
Tin: this is a natural element among the family of carbons.
Iron ore: this is a rock from which a resource called metallic iron can be extracted.
There are also Limestone, lead and zinc to mention just a few.
What are the uses of any 5 national resources
Iron ore is used for creating steel it can also be used to make pog iron etc.
Natural gas can be used for heating, cooking water heating Electricity etc.
Coal is used for starting fires, mostly it is generated from firewood.
Limestone can be used for building houses as it is used in the production of cement, it is also a major ingredient for toothpaste.
Niobium is used to improve the strength of alloys
Explain the term "renewable natural resources"
These are resources that cannot be finished or depleted and are always able to supply a continuous source of clean resources.
What body regulates the extraction of natural resources in your country
The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation(NNPC)
DEPARTMENT OF PETROLEUM RESOURCES (DPR)

Besides it's use in the making of jewelry, what are other uses of gold.
It is used in making glass, cosmetics, Mobile phones, computers, it can also be used in finance and investment as it is a major source of wealth.
