WHAT IS DISCIPLINE?
Disciplining does not simply mean punishment, but it involves helping your children understand the reasons behind the rules.
Disciplining a child can be difficult but can also be simply as the proverbs says " The one who shows insight in a matter will find success". Sometimes you will have to look beyond your children's words to understand their true feeling.
Appropriate time to beat your child can be one way of discipline but it will be wrong if beating becomes the only way of disciplining a child.

In my youthful age, though my parents uses appropriate beating to discipline me, mostly they used the scriptures to discipline and when the read scriptures I will pay close attention and accepted the discipline.

These method of training helped, I also apply the same method to my kid and it work perfectly for me.

Methods of Training Your Child
✓ Pray to God to give you wisdom to train your child
✓ You must learn what is in the heart of your child
✓ Set good example
✓ Create a room for your child to talk to you freely
✓ Try to understand what the really means
✓Be resolved not to interrupt or overreact no matter what your kid say or do.
✓ Try to recall how you felt at their age and what seemed important to you
✓ Present a United front
✓ Have a plan for your kids
