NUTRITIOUS SUBSTANCES FOR THE BODY

Today in class I gave Natural Science Lessons to my students, the theme I gave in the form of understanding nutritious food to my students. Because this concerns Science it never hurts if I share with friends steemkids about what we learned today, hopefully, useful to know.

As we know nutritious foods are a collection of food collections that certainly contain various substances needed by the human body, both as a source of energy such as carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. there are also building substances such as protein, and there are also regulatory substances such as vitamins and minerals. All these substances are needed by the body, and we are sometimes obliged to know. To further add knowledge and information let's discuss substances needed by the human body one by one.

Carbohydrates

This substance called carbohydrates is the main source of energy for a person's body, this substance can be in the form of sugar or often called Glucose that has a sweet taste. This carbohydrate substance can be found in rice, wheat and also yam, this substance can also be in the form of Amilum in the form of starchy substances.

Protein

This substance called protein is one that is classified as a source of energy for humans in addition to carbohydrates, through this protein substance humans can form body cells or can be a substance that repairs damaged body cells. Protein substances can be found in two places, first protein found in animals called Animal Protein and also protein found in plants that are often referred to as Vegetable Protein.

Water

What would it be like if people couldn't drink for more than 3 days? Cell damage ranging from dehydration will be experienced by humans. Water is a very large role in the human body because it serves as a solvent that is needed by the body. In addition to digestion for humans, water can also act as a guard for human body temperature. By consuming water as much as 8 to 10 glasses per day or equivalent to 2 liters more, we have taken good care of all organs of the body.

Fatty substances

Fatty substances is very feared by some people because it will have an impact on obesity. but fat is also needed by the body, as long as it is not consumed excessively. Fatty substances is very functioning as storage of food reserves for the body and can protect some organs of the body in humans. Fat can be found in milk and some other foods.

Mineral

Calcium, phosphorus, iron, and Iodine are examples of minerals needed by the human body. But the body only needs a few mineral substances, because when excess will have an impact on health. This powerful substance can serve for the strength of bones and teeth, bind oxygen in human blood, and play a large role in the growth and development of the human body.

Vitamin

And the substance needed by the body last is vitamins and plays a role in the morning of the body and human development. This vitamin can be easily found in fruits and also in vegetables. The impact of vitamin deficiency that can occur is that the human body will be easily disturbed by some viruses that may be able to enter the human body, indirectly disrupting the body's work. Vitamins such as vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and K are needed by the body.

By knowing all forms of substances needed by the body, we can regulate and provide all forms of substances contained in the food we consume. To keep the condition of the body healthy, not only depends on the nutritious substances we eat but also on maintaining a good diet for our body. In addition, regular exercise and maintaining a diet will help us to continue to be in good body health. Therefore, start to continue to cultivate healthy and clean living so that we become a strong and intelligent generation.
