10% For @steemkidss | Getting to Know Crypto by Playing | kids-educative
Hello friends @steemkidss wherever you are, hopefully we are all still in good health and always given the convenience of doing daily activities. Today I want to share a little story in this post, hopefully it will be useful.
A few days ago when I opened @steemit on my laptop, suddenly my eldest daughter who was still in elementary school saw and read posts about Crypto. He also asked this in depth, perhaps out of curiosity. I also owe it to explain the definition of Crypto at a later time, what is the basis of Crypto. My daughter already has a steemit account, but due to her busy schedule in the last few weeks, she is unable to proceed to the verification stage. Maybe next time I'll register it with a newcomer and complete the verification.
Back to the original theme, today I kept my promise to explain Crypto to Syifa. But in a playful and creative way. I did this so that Syifa could learn while playing to find out what Crypto is. The activity to introduce Crypto to Syifa I did by inviting him to play by sticking a clipping. The theme I use is to differentiate Crypto and regular currencies. that's all I think is still lacking, it would be nice while playing so it's easy to remember.
For this paper gluing game to get to know crypto, I have provided some tools beforehand and how to learn them. Among them:
A. Equipment
- 3 sheets of HVS paper that I have printed complete with a comparison of crypto currency and regular currency.
- 3 pieces of HVS paper that I have printed on the meaning of crypto and currency as well as currency comparison pictures and other comparison pictures.
- Glue
- And scissors as a paper cutting tool
B. first preparation
- After the first equipment is available, all images that will be pasted must be cut out, the writing on the meaning of crypto and ordinary currency is also cut out. to be pasted as a comparison between crypto and ordinary currency.
- Next, the HVS paper that we use as the basic material for clippings as our comparison becomes one.
- Then I stick it on the wall, so it's easy to play with.
C. Second preparation
In this section, I explain the basics of game material related to cryto.
The material should not be too long, because it can surprise children, for the initial stage we will discuss the basics of cryto and currency.
I explained to syifa that Crypto is a virtual currency, which is used to transact one person with another online. While ordinary currency is an object that functions as a medium of exchange, as a means of payment for the purchase and sale of goods and services.
until I explain where to store crypto and ordinary money, for an example of the Digital Transaction flow I will explain too.
The material I convey to Syifa is only about
- What is cryto?
- Definition of currency?
- Where is cryto stored?
- Where is regular money kept?
- What are some examples of digital transactions?
- Then I asked what the difference was, while pasting the clipping with the correct image.
I will explain this first so that Syifa understands to paste an image that fits the framework on the clipping, which aims to make her understand the difference between ordinary currency and Crypto.
D. Now Play sticking paper according to the material presented.
- I ordered Syifa to paste the HVS paper containing the understanding, pictures, digital transaction methods, as I explained earlier. All the paper that was cut earlier must be glued to the bottom of the crypto and the currency can be properly aligned. It's simple to paste an image related to the title on it, according to the information requested
Until finally Syifa was able to paste or match all the questions with the appropriate picture, namely the difference between Crypto and Common Currencies.
Hopefully the game of Sticking and matching pictures with the theme of knowing Crypto and distinguishing Crypto can be useful. learn while playing.
