Recreation Review | Enjoying the Puncak Area

Assalamu'alaikum, Hello dear friend steemians..

Last March, which was still within the month of Ramadan in the Hijri Calendar, I and my colleagues from the Langsa City Sanitation Program Team, totaling thirteen people, scheduled a visit to the factory of a septic tank provider company located in Bogor Regency, West Java. We departed with three cars from Langsa on Friday morning to Kualanamu Airport in Medan. Our plane was scheduled to fly at 07.00 to Soekarno Hatta Airport in Jakarta. Because it was still the fasting month, on the way to Medan, we stopped for suhoor in Tanjung Pura, then continued our journey through the toll road to Kualanamu Airport.

Arriving at Kualanamu at around 05.20, we parked the car in the airport parking lot, then entered the airport to the counter to take tickets and put our luggage in the trunk. After getting the tickets, we performed the morning prayer, and then entered the departure waiting room. Not long after waiting, the call to board the plane was heard and we entered the plane. I sat in the window seat, clearly visible blue sky with layers of clouds, Subhanallah...

Traveling for about two hours, we landed at Soekarno Hatta Airport at around 09.00. We waited for our luggage with a pickup waiting in the airport parking lot, the pickup was a delegate from the company whose factory we were going to visit. We moved to the factory located at Jalan Gunung Putri Bogor. When we arrived, we prayed first at the prayer room, then continued with a tour of the factory to see each stage of the septic tank manufacturing process and the materials used, and the factory invited us to test the strength of the septic tank by stepping on it and hitting it with wood. After the factory tour, we traveled to the Puncak area to a villa where we stayed.

In this villa there are various facilities, there are billiards, karaoke, table tennis and Playstation. We arrived at the villa just in time to break the fast, and immediately ate the dishes that were available. As night fell, we didn't do much because we were tired from the day's journey.

The next day on a cheerful Saturday, we have chosen the place we will go that day, the first destination is Gunung Mas Agrotourism. The expanse of tea gardens in this place is soothing to the eye, there are also many other tourist facilities provided in this place, we tried the rainbow slide, flying fox and ATV. Riding ATVs down small roads in the tea garden by passing through small obstacles presents its own excitement, we really enjoy it. We often stopped to help colleagues who were having trouble passing through the obstacles and there were times when we stopped to capture this exciting moment.

Until late afternoon we were at Gunung Mas, after which we visited another place that was no less interesting, called Sevillage. In this place we saw the beautiful hills and trees of Puncak. There is one interesting cafe in Sevillage, because it is located at the top of the hills, so in this place when the day is getting late it will be seen that the fog continues to thicken, a rare phenomenon and this is the first time we have seen it. While waiting for the time to break the fast in this place, we sat down to relax and order the food menu with an aesthetic atmosphere.

After breaking the fast and praying Maghrib, we went back to the villa, on the way we stopped at a place selling typical Bogor souvenirs. I bought Bolu Lapis Talas, which is a famous souvenir from Bogor. Arriving at the villa, we began to utilize the entertainment facilities available, I myself chose to play table tennis with three other colleagues. We played to our heart's content until we didn't want to stop, because it was the last night of our stay at the villa and the plane tickets for our return on Sunday had also been booked.

On Sunday, we packed our bags in the morning and prepared to wait for the pick-up cars to arrive. At around 11.00, we were transferred from Bogor to Soekarno Hatta Airport in Jakarta. After more than an hour of waiting, we boarded the plane and flew back to Kualanamu Airport in Medan. Before traveling again to Langsa, we had dinner at Nasi Padang Sederhana Restaurant on Medan Ring Road. This restaurant was the last place we took a group photo, then we boarded our respective cars to continue our journey home, reunited with our families, after three days of traveling.
