What's kind of food is most suitable for the proper mental and physical development of a child?

The balanced diet with all the vital nutrients forms the right diet which would bring the child in proper mental and physical development. Foods that contain high proteins like eggs, fish, yoghurt, lean meat will create strong muscles and good to the growth. Brown rice, oatmeal and other similar grains are good sources of energy for the body as well as brain power.

Fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals, which strengthen the bones, the eyes and the mind as well hence a healthy mind. Omega-3 fatty acids in foods, such as fish and flaxseeds, assist in the brain development and memory. Further, to remain in top performance standards, be it physically or mentally, children can grow up healthy by taking lots of water and cutting on processed and high sugar foods.

How can parents play a role in instilling good habits in children (such as reading on time, discipline, politeness)?

Proper mental and physical growth of a child is what necessitates the best food a child should have and such best food entails balance diet consisting of essential nutrients. Other foods that contain plenty of proteins such as eggs, fish, yogurt and lean pieces of meat are very nutritious and will build muscles and help your child grow. Whole grain bran contains brown rice and oatmeal that give body and brain energy to operate. Fruits and vegetables contain vitamins, minerals, especially iron, calcium and vitamin A which help in forming very good bones, good eyes and a balanced mind.

Omega-3 fatty acids as available in fish and flaxseeds aid the brain and memory formation. Also, maintaining a variety of proper nutrition, drinking a lot of water and limiting the number of processed and sweetened foods also helps the kids to be healthy and at their best, not only physically, but also cognitively as they mature.

What kind of effects does spending too much time on mobile or tablet have on children?

The uncontrolled usage of a mobile phone or a tablet can heavily impact the health and wellness of a child. It may affect their physical health as it causes them problems with their sight, poor body position, and sleeping problems. Mentally, children might too much lose interest in playing creatively or reading or communicating with their friends and this process might slacken their social and communication processes.

This may lead to difficulties in the formation of imagination and problem solving strengths. Also, too much time in front of the screen can reduce the levels of physical activity in children, exposing them to the danger of obesity and other connected health conditions. Parents should also balance their children between the utilization of technology and other healthy, metabolizing, and outdoor things to incorporate their wholesome development and pleasure.

What kind of games or activities are most suitable for increasing confidence and creativity in children?

Most appropriate activities that promote expression, solution problems and exploring as a team are games and activities. Coloring in, crafts, or other activities such as drawing or painting enable children to exercise their imagination. Creative planning and thinking are shaped with the assistance of building games, including the use of blocks, or LEGO.

The game of role-playing, telling stories, or dramas are helpful in raising the confidence levels, as children are enabled to articulate ideas and feelings. Team work and self belief is also enhanced by having outside games such as the treasure hunt, obstacle courses and even group sports. To add to this experience of curiosity and confidence, one can encourage participation in music, dance or science experiments thereby making learning a fun and interesting experience to the children.
