The second that I read about the photo submission that was satirical in nature I couldn’t help but participate. Watching what everyone on Steem does come up with is always fun and their creativity truly surprises me whenever. So after digging through my gallery, I happened upon these comic photos I took with a comedy Snapchat filter I even couldn’t stop laughing 😄at myself for a full ten minutes.

Indeed, I managed to take this photo by pure accident and it’s this spontaneity that strikes me in this photo. I was just fidgeting around with Snapchat filters, testing out new specs when one of them grabbed my attention the colossal eye and huge lips brought my mediocre selfie to sheer comedy gold. It made my usual expression a cartoony over the top dazzle that stood out so much that it became one of my most treasured photographs.

It’s amazing how filters such as this can change the way you feel. It is not just some face modification that makes them stand out. they change your mood. That was exactly the same for me I was just idly surfing through my phone when I suddenly burst into unexpected laughter that left me astonished at how absurd and in some way cute I happened to be.

That is why it was a lot more enjoyable after putting it out there with my friends who loved it so much. Some said I looked like a confused outsider from another world trying to make his way in earth 😀 but others would think I would be perfect in any animated film. It made us all come together not only in a positive but funny manner with inside jokes.

What makes this picture really unique it was able to capture the sheer thrill of spontaneous joy. Now with the speed at which things could get serious these days, a free-shot like this is exactly the light nag to pause and appreciate the lighter side. I’m thrilled to share it with other Steemians and eager to see all the hilarious material we are going to post here. Let’s keep the laughter rolling.
