Christmas and Its Origin..Do you know?
Greetings everyone how are you all doing today and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas day so today I'm happy to be part of this contest which was organized by @bossj23 much gratitude to you.
What does Christmas mean for you?
For me Christmas means a religious and a cultural holiday which is celebrated by Christians around the world and according to Christians Christmas is a commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ .
And me I'm a Christian and that word Christmas is derived from old English phrase which is cristes maesse which means Christ mas and it's always a special day which is celebrated in a special way.
Trace the origin of Christmas, stating at least 3 fact that support or counters the celebration.
The origin of Christmas can be traced back to ancient Christians and pagan tradition and as Christians believe and have chosen 25th of every December to be a Christmas day and a day to commemorate the birth of our lord Jesus Christ.
And one counter to the celebration of Christmas is that it incorporates elements from different pagan winter festivals .
So supporting the celebration of Christmas according to my research and my observation is that in the historical record indicates that the observance of Jesus birth began in the 14th century.
Was Jesus born on 25th December.
This is really a good question and i have been also asking so many people because for my research i have come to conclusion that they is no exact date of the birth of Jesus Christ and it's not even mentioned in the holy Bible.
So in conclusion to this is that Pope Julius the first is the one that declared December 25th as the for celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ in the years 350 AD.
Why do you choose to or choose not to celebrate Christmas?
I choose to celebrate Christmas because I'm a Christian and i believe in the Christians religions and as a Christian I am Christmas is a significant religious observance commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Thanks do much for reading my post I'm inviting @rad-austine @okere-blessing and @emmy01 to participate in this contest.

Dear @entity01, your post is short and brief enough to be understandable, one word I love in your post is that there's no exact date of the birth of Jesus Christ, keep growing with this sense.
Good luck friend and happy new year.
