Update #57; Writing Expedition ✍️ Sunday; Steem Promotion/Recruitment And Power Up

Hello there, my fellow steemit friends. Happy Sunday to you all. Hope you all are doing well. Welcome to a new week. Wishing you all the best this new week. In my article today, I will be writing about "Power Up".

Introduction

Power Up is an essential step all steemians take. In my article, I will be showing us how I powered up my steem.
First, every post pays out after 7 days, giving out it rewards in steem, steem power and steem dollars. When this rewards is received, our steem and steem dollars are always present in our wallet. After accumulating steems and steem dollars, we then need to power up inorder to remain in a club.

How I Powered Up My Steem

Steem dollars are not the same as steems. We go through a process whereby, we convert this steem dollars to steem. First we click on the little arrow near our steem dollars. Seeing four options, we will click on market. The market allows us to buy and sell steems. Where we see buy steem, we will insert the number of steem dollars we want to convert. Automatically, it will convert it to steem. 1 steem dollar cost thirteen steems, so I converted $6.614 to steem, I inserted my password and it gave me a total of 85 steems.

Already, I had 10 steems so adding 85, it becomes a total of 95 steems. The next thing I did was to power up. In steemit we have three club status which are club5050, club75 and club100.

I am a club5050 member and as a club5050 member, I will divide my steems into two. I had 95 steems and 95 divided by 2 will give me a fraction, so I decided to power up the greater part and withdraw the remaining. I powered up a total of 48 steems while 47 was remaining.

So near my steems I clicked the small arrow and four options appeared. Among the four options, I clicked power up. I inserted 48 steems, I put in my password and my power up was complete. Am happy I am building my steem power.
The remaining 48 steems, I withdraw and use it for school purpose.
