INTRODUCTION
Art is a term that is synonymous with creative skills, techniques, procedure or style of doing things. It is the general language of any creative person. With creativity one can express himself through the following:
- painting
- drawing
- weaving
- sculpture
Follow up as I introduce to you my drawing and painting cultural and creative art work.

MATERIAL USED
- cardboard
- pencil
- poster colour
- brushes
- Bowl and water
STEPS
The following are drawing steps I used

PAINTING STEPS
- STEP 1
Painting of all the red areas
My students who are interested in joining steemit came around and watch how I painted.
STEP 2
Painting of all the yellow areas with a a different brush
STEP 3
Painting of all the green areas with still a different brush
STEP 4
I painted the purple colour after the green must have dried.
STEP 5
Painting of lower part of the mouth with Ash colour which i obtained by mixing red and purple color
STEP 6
To paint the upper part of the mouth, I mixed brown and white color to obtain light brown or tint brown as shown below
STEP 7
I painted the branch of a tree that the parrots on with brown colour
STEP 8

Finally I came up with this awesome work
CONCLUSION
The above drawing and painting in this cultural and creative art contest depict 🦜 Parrots on a branch of a tree and the Steemkids community logo showing the awesome community that organized the contest.
