Sports and physical education plays a huge role in the lives of the student and even the community at large.
These physical education includes; exercise, play, organize and non-organize competitive games that contribute to the physical fitness and mental well being and social interactions for the students.

These is all kinds of physical activities which through casual or organized participation, aim to use, improve or to maintain physical ability while providing entertainment.

They are;

  • Table tennis
  • Volleyball
  • Basketball
  • Archery
  • Swimming
  • Chess
  • Martial art
  • Athletic etc.

IMPORTANT OF SPORT TO THE STUDENT AND THE SOCIETY

  • It create access to opportunities for work as well as fitness

  • To improve our fitness level

  • Giving you an option to pursue a career in sport

  • It helps in teaching people discipline as well as improving their performance

  • Giving the chance in meeting nee people

  • It makes the students emotionally strong

  • It helps in eliminating stress

BENEFITS OF SPORTS

It increase the physical activity and health:

It is very wrong in denying your child the chance in participating in sports activities, registering your child or allowing him or her to participate in their school physical activities can help him/her to develop good health habbits.
Even if it's once a week or f regular exercise can be very beneficial.

Helps in forming social and community bonds:

These mostly occur with children, engaging themselves in any physical activities (sports) is a way to make new friends outside school.
Competing or participating in any sports can give the student the opportunity in getting to know and meet other people.

It helps in learning how to face and overcome challenges:

Engaging in sports can help a child to learn how to make quick decision by themselves and also knowing when to walk as a team.

CONCLUSION

Physical activities is very important to children, and i strongly say that it is very good for a child to participate in school sports, cause it helps them physically and mentally and also contribute to physically fitness.
