You're welcome to my post once again, in today's post i will be answering questions on Social Studies which is a a Homework Task that was given go us by one of our hardworking member in person of @udyliciouz.
Below is my answers on the Homework Task.

WHAT IS COMMUNICATION?

COMMUNICATION: These can simply be defined as the transfer and receiving of information by talking, writing letters or by using other forms.

It can also be defined as the means of exchanging information, such as letter writing and phones.

STATE AND EXPLAIN FORMS OF COMMUNICATION

We have two different forms of communication, there are as follows;

TRADITIONAL COMMUNICATION

These ks the olden days way of transferring information to someone or people in a particular community, below are the forms;

• TOWN CRIER: In the olden days the town crier will be send by the village head go go about the village sending information to the villagers by beating drums or any instrument, and shouting out loud telling them what the message was.

• BURNING OF FIRE OR SMOKING: These was normally use as a special indication to the villagers that something is happening in the community or village.

MODERN COMMUNICATION

These is the recent or the current way of transferring information to people.

• SOCIAL MEDIA: These where you can send and receive information across the world without any stress

• MOBILE PHONE: These is a device that you can use to communicate with your love once or friends across the world, and it can also be use in sending text to people with just one click.

WHAT ARE THE TRADITIONAL AND MODERN DEVICE USED IN COMMUNICATION?

They are;

They are;
Example of Traditional device used in communication

• Cow horn
• Talking drums
• Bell

Example of modern device used in communication

• Smartphone
• Tablet
• Laptop

DISCUSS THE MODERN FORMS OF COMMUNICATION

There are a lot of benefit of modern form of communication.
Below are the few Benefits;

1. TRANSMISSION SPEED: You can transfer as many information as you want in a twinkle of an eye without any delay.

2. EXPANSION OF COVERAGE: When it comes to modern form of communication, distance is not the problem, you can transfer information to people across the world.

3. LOW COST: It doesn't cost much at all, with just 4 naira you can send message to your family member or friend.

CONCLUSION

Communication is the key source of knowledge, and information.
