HELLO FRIENDS,

How are you people doing, hope you guys are doing fine as always.

You are welcome to my post once again and in these post i will be answering questions on Social Studies, which is a Homework Task that is being given to us by one of our very own in person of @udyliciouz.
Without waisting time i will go straight to the main reason of these post, which is answering of Homework Task questions.

DEFINE A GROUP IN YOUR OWN WORDS?

GROUP:- These can be define as a gathering of more than two people in a particular place.
Or, a group can also be defined as the coming together or keeping more than to things in a particular place.

WHAT IS GROUP BEHAVIOR?

GROUP BEHAVIOR

These can be define as people in a particular group who have the same goal and behave the same way, cause of the group influence.

MENTION AND EXPLAIN THE TWO TYPES OF GROUP BEHAVIOR

The two types of group behavior are;

• POSITIVE (CONSTRUCTIVE) GROUP BEHAVIOR
  These is when the group behavior of a particular group is constructive.
  It is when a group of people come together as one to do something positive and beneficiary to the society.

Example;

A group of youth coming together and clearing the roadside of their community without being sent by the community chief or leader.

• NEGATIVE (DESTRUCTIVE) GROUP BEHAVIOR
  These is when the group behavior of a group is not constructive.
  It is when people come together with the same goal and mind to do something bad and wicked.

Example;

The END SARS protest in Nigeria which lead to the dead of so many innocent people.

LOST AND EXPLAIN FIVE(5) CHARACTERISTICS OF GROUP BEHAVIOR THAT YOU KNOW

1. ROLE STRUCTURES - Everyone in a particular group has role or a behavior in which he or she is expected to behave.

2. NORMS - These is when the group leader set out a specific rule for the rest of the group to follow.

3. GROUP COHESION - These enables the members of a particular group to to be committed and join force in achieving their goal.

4. LEADERSHIP -These is the main thing that will determine whether the group will be successful or not.
   Effective leadership can shape a group in a perfect way which will help them in achieving their goal

5. PURPOSE AND MISSION - The purpose and mission of a group determine whether the group will move farward or not.
