Greetings to everyone in this community. I'm so @dorismos and I so much appreciate and commend @ukpono for teaching us this. Many people are confused when it comes to their use of it's and its. This tutorial has shown us that its is kind of possessional while it's is used to pass the stress of writing it is.... It is the shortest form of it is. Example;

• The cat wagged its tail
• It's because of her.
  @ukpono gave us some test questions and here there are..Why does our use of its and it's matter? I can vividly remember when I attended a lesson in school and a question was thrown to the class. The question was

Peter says --------- her fault, not his
A. its
B. It's

Everyone kept mute for a while as the pronunciation sounded alike not until a student broke the silence and asked the teacher to recap. The teacher recaped saying the same thing. I attempted after a girl did saying it's because from past knowledge, it's is a short form of it is. Many gets confuse about these two words especially when given an exams to write that includes these. Jamb candidates mostly encounter questions like this when writing their exams and if they don't have an adequate knowledge on how to tackle the question since it comes it tactical forms, they might fail the question. It's not only these two words that matters. The use of Every day and Everyday as discussed last week also place a challenge for many students. It's just to understand the context of the sentence before supplying any answer.
