Once

upon a time, there lived a girl named Lucy. She was smart, beautiful and very humble. She lost her dad in a car accident at the age of 12 and since then, she's been living with her mum who raised her all by herself. She was given admission to a prestigious university. While waiting for entry to the school, she met a tall, dark and handsome guy who seemed to fix his gaze on her. He walked over to her and introduced himself as Greg. The instant their eyes met, the fell in love. They became so fond of each other and visited each other frequently. On one of their visits, Greg talked lucy into sleeping with him.

Lucy was scared of loosing her virginity and getting pregnant. Greg convinced her that if she says she loves him, she has to agree to it and be reassured her that nothing was going to happen. Lucy finally gave in. Few weeks later her mum discovered she was pregnant. She was so mad and heartbroken after realizing her only daughter was pregnant. She asked Lucy who was responsible and they went to Greg's house. Greg denied ever knowing her in front of his parents. Lucy begged him to tell them the truth, but he still denied her. Lucy's mother was so angry and took her to the hospital to abort the baby.

Seeing her hesitate, the doctor asked Lucy if the decision was okay with her. Lucy said no in tears, that she wanted to keep the baby.
Lucy's mother was so angry to hear her decision and disowned her saying that from that moment on, she seized being her daughter.
Lucy pleaded and cried but her mum had already made her decision. Lucy didn't have anywhere to go, so she spent the night in an uncompleted building.

Heavily pregnant, Lucy started selling oranges by a tree stand. One beautiful morning, a young man stopped by her stand and bought all her oranges. She was shocked and thanked the man sincerely. The next day, he came again, this time he parked his car and sat with Lucy under the tree. Donald was a medical doctor and he had been observing Lucy anytime he passed that route. He felt pity and concern for her and decided to help her.

Lucy agreed to his help of giving her a flat in his estate. He was so nice to her that Lucy couldn't help feeling uncomfortable and asked him why he was helping her. He confessed his love for her and proposed to her. Lucy was speechless, she couldn't help but cry. Tears of Joy indeed. She liked him too and was thankful to him. Few days later, she delivered of a bouncing baby boy. she was so happy as she stared at the baby"her fruit of foolishness". she couldn't help missing her mum as she thought she of everything she had been through. Tears flowed down her face..
