Greetings to his everyone in this community. I'm so much happy to be part of this class again. Last week I learnt a lot and here again is this week. I want to specially thank @ubongudofot for his unceasing effort in helping us understand computer basics. In this tutorial, I've learnt a lot about operating system, it types and importance. I've also come to an understanding that without operating system, communication in computers and other devices won't be possible.... In this post, I'll answer the questions below to show I fully understand the tutorial on operating system.

Types/Examples of Operating system

To be frank, there are basically 5 main types of operating system [Mobile, real-time, batch, distributed and network operating system] and the ones mentioned in this tutorials are under the types of Operating system. Example the windows and Linux mentioned in this tutorial are examples of Mobile Operating system which is a type of operating system.. Since it's open and general, I'll just discuss these three.

Android os

This is a type of operating system that allow users use programs like games, notepad, etc. on their mobile phone. It is the most widely used mobile OS founded in Palo Alto of California in 2003. This operating is developed by Google and basically designed for touchscreen devices such as smartphones, etc. The current or latest version of Android os is Android 12 released last year October....It uses OTA as update method and has several programming languages like Java, C++, XML, etc. It is from the Unix-like operating system family which is Linux based. It supports large number of applications which are comfortable and advanced for smartphone users. It has millions of apps that has improved lives....

iOS os
it is the second largest operating system after android. It is a type of Operating system that powers ipad, ipod touch product and iphone. iOS uses multi-touch interface with the help of simple textures like swapping and pinching fingers. It uses programming languages such as C++, Swift, assembly language etc. iOS makes its device's sensors very strong. It largely depend on web apps through the Safari web browser. iOS is specially designed In a way that if virus enter into the device through apps then it can fail to harm other applications. This makes it distinct from other operating system.

Real-time Os
is an os that processes events or data at a defined time without buffer delay. They are purely designed to execute tasks within a particular time interval...

Which operating system are you currently using and how long have you been using it?

I'm currently using an Android os and I've been using it for 10 years now. I just can't explain how android os has improved the lives of many. The developers are on steady cash since it's the most common and popular os in the world

Describe your experience using the operating system

I wonder how my life would have been without apps. My usage with this operating system is worthwhile. I have nothing to regret because it has helped my life and it's so comfortable to use. Restrictions aren't there pertaining to certain. Also, browsing using the latest Android version is fantabulous. Communication has been made possible too. so much love......
