The Diary Game; Wednesday for sports and my birthday (5/6/2024)

Morning Activities

Greetings, members of Steem kids and parents, this is one of my favourite communities maybe because I work with children and in always happy to be here. I hope we are all good. This day was a special day because it was my birthday. I woke up looking forward to the day even tho I wasn't going to mark or celebrate it.

I woke up as usual and prepared for school. I got to school and my students right from the school gate were wishing me happy birthday. I was all smiles and I decided to take a shot before the morning devotion with some of them. During the morning devotion, the old national anthem which has been newly signed by the President of Nigeria and which had been taught to the students was sang by them.

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES

In the afternoon, we decided to take a little time off learning to do some exercise tho we were supposed to do it in the morning. I watched the students stretch their tired limbs after sitting for a long while learning in the classroom.

EVENING ACTIVITIES

School closed by 4pm and we all prayed and dismissed. When I got home, I rested after taking snacks, then later on selected beans which we cooked and ate as dinner. The day ended well for me even tho I didn't celebrate my birthday but I thanked God for the gift of life.
