Social Studies Assignment On Agents and Agencies of Socialization

Good day everyone, I appreciate God for another day like this. Having gone through the lesson by @udyliciouz, I want to participate In the home work tasks made general to the steemians. Much thanks to her for the lesson and the community for supporting her through.
Last week we looked at socialization being the process by which an individual gain experience from it agencies starting from the family, school, peer group, church and media. With those agencies it helps an individual interact and learn a particular culture.

I will be answering some home tasks:

Agents of socialization comprises of the individual, family and school that helps socialise an individual. Agents can be the family members or peers that affect an individual in a given culture or pattern.

Agency of socialization is where socialization occurs. here it can be the society, school, mass media and church. It serves as a body or group that affect people's way of life

family is the first agency of socialization because a child grows from the home to the outside world being the society. So good morals and behaviours are endowed on by the parent to the siblings.i have really learnt alot about morals and behaviour from my mother and father, they taught me well living just among people in the Society and mostly respecting elders. While growing I thought it was a rule imposed on me but to see it all those rules made me great and special in the society.

School is another agency that affect a child's way of life while socializing with people and its environment. In this agency children are taught skills and impacted with high knowledgeable ideas to help cope with the future fighting the high rate of ignorance in the Society. I have really achieved alot while socializing in the school, learning how to communicate with people, achieving essential skills and creating positive ideas.

Peer group is one of the most powerful agency that spread negative and positive vibes to an individual rapidly even more than the family and school. While growing and relating with the environment friends and people are the ones we attached mostly with, so positive and negative experiences can be passed down to another. Having good home morals help a child to kick against negative vibes created by peers.

Mass media is another agency that socialise an individual positively and negatively. Ideas and imaginations created from going through a text can change your thoughts to do negative or positive things. It's left for the individual to be convinced to accept it.

Electronic gadgets like computers and mobile phones are really affecting the teens in a given society growing leaders with no or little knowledge about good manners and morals. Most of the movie watched can make a teen grow sexual or criminal thoughts. So movie teens should be placed parental guide.

The church is agency that socialise people passing down culture and traditional morals. So many people act differently just because of their church doctrine making them live and act differently from others.

🖤 Socialization is a form of interaction which makes communication easier.
🖤 Socialization can also affect an individual way of life positively or negatively thereby bringing changes in the society.
🖤 With Socialization love, peace and harmony are shared among individuals.
