PHYSICS CLASS | LESSON 1 - Introduction To Physics And Units Of Measurement.
Hello Everyone.
The Steemkids community is just the best place to be in as a kid on the platform, the Steemkids community keeps making sure our time here in the steemit platform is knowledge filled and we keep learning everyday.
No doubt physics is one of the most difficult subject, it hindered a lot of my classmates from joining the science class and they all ran and joined the commercial class. Even I who managed to join the science, physics has been a major problem and a setback to me but I can't runaway from it if not we would have done the needful.
Today our tutor introduced the subject be defining it and from the knowledge I gained from the class, I will be dropping my assignment.
Physics can simply be defined as that branch of science which studies the relationship that exist between matter and energy. Physics tries to discover/find out what matter is made up of and how it interacts with energy. Our everyday life revolves around physics.
There are lots of branches under physics but for this class I will be mentioning just two. Below are some of the branches of physics.
- Mechanics: This aspect of physics deals with motion and the cause for the motion of a body.
Thermodynamics: just as the name implies, this deals with the increase and decrease in temperature.
Recall that: 1 meter = 1.094 yards =39.4 inches
Therefore 100 meters to yards = 100 × 1.094 = 109.4 yards
Also 100 meters to inches = 100 × 39.4 = 3,940 inches
Quantities | S.I Units |
---|---|
Mass | Kilogram |
Current | Ampere |
No doubt our everyday life revolves around physics and depends on it, permit me to say no physics, no life.
