Lesson 4: The Solar System.
Hello Everyone.
Our tutor @alessgsl for sure did justice to the topic by breaking down everything we need to know about the solar system in simple English without the use of grammars and all that, we appreciate your every effort to see that we learn and understand how our planet works.
The solar system is one of the topic that confused the most in school but the Steemkids community and the steemit platform offered me the opportunity to come across this topic once again, I have been able to understand all that I could not understand during my school days. Understanding the solar system is quite difficult because the solar system itself is complicated.
It takes time and study for one to be able to understand everything about the solar system and how it works.
There are lots of theories related to the origin of the solar system but for this class we will be looking at two:
Nebular Hypothesis: The very first model of the Nebular Hypothesis was first put forward by Immanuel Kant in 1755. The Nebular Hypothesis was later altered in 1796 by Pierre Laplace, based on the Nebular Hypothesis it is believed that the solar system came into existence after the condensation of a Nebular.
Dust Cloud Theory: The dust cloud theory presumes that the entire solar system came into existence as a result of gases and particles of dust in space.
The solar system comprises of lots of element which makes up the solar system but the one discussed below catches my attention the most.
- Asteroids: From research we are made to know that asteroids are rocks of different sizes, shapes and that there are millions of asteroids in space. Asteroids are also said to be minor planets, it is believed that an asteroid hit the earth about 65 million years ago and another will be hitting the earth soon probably in 2029. I really enjoyed doing research on asteroids.
In conclusion, earth sciences is indeed helping us understand both how our planet works and how the entire solar system works, a shout out to our tutor.
Hello dear student. I am very happy for your participation in this fourth lesson and that you have learned more about the Solar system. I must say that you did a good job, you understood the theme very well.
You are very right, the universe is very complex and that includes the solar system. That is why it is important to study in parts each system that makes up the world to understand it more easily.
Congratulations!! I hope to see you soon in the next class. Good day!!
