Diary Game|| 26-09-2024|| Environmental Cleaning/Sanitation Day With Church Youth

Dear diary,

There's a saying that "cleanliness is next to godliness" which I so much agree with to be true. If you claimed you are godly, we can see it in your appearance which is the way you dress wether clean or dirty; the environment around you would also give us the picture of who you are. It is very crucial to know that a clean body is a healthy body, and a dirty body is also an unhealthy body; a clean environment or society is a healthy environment or society while a environment or society is an unhealthy environment or society vice versa.

Therefore to have a healthy society regular environmental cleaning to get rid of the unwanted becomes paramount to avoid environmental pollution which is detrimental to the human health. Our community leaders or government as the case may be must see to it that our environment are kept clean always must especially public centers like market places etc where people just throw garbages anyhow after using the real content.

It is in this regard I mobilized the Church Youth under our branch including the other youth of other branches under me to come together and joined us to clean a local market which is mainly a bus stop that I spotted to be very dirty, the gutters were also blocked with garbages which have been one of the reasons some communities today are facing disaster like flooding. Many people out there do not always trash their waste rightly but rather in gutters infront of their houses expecting the rain water to help them trash it but sometimes reverse is the case.

Today I woke up and dressed very early and set out to office as seen in the picture below.

After my usual office routines we set out with all the youth as scheduled for an environmental sanitation which is courtesy to the 70th birthday celebrations of our General Overseer who is a global beacon of grace.

Our branch and other branches under us came together and we all went as scheduled to a bus stop where local traders are buying and selling. We swept the place and cleared the gutters too as seeing in the pictures below.

Afterward I returned home, bath and ate my dinner and that was all for the day.
