Diary Game|| 17-08-2024|| AYAC 2024 - Day 5, Reading and Fatherhood

Dear diary,

Today being the Day 5 of our Annual Youth Alive Convention which also marked the last day of the convention was also the impartation day. This year AYAC was a top notched, it was a mountain of Empowerment as the theme implies with undeniable testimonies.

I woke up this morning after devotion, I took some time to study my Bible and also later read a book titled Ruling Your World A Recipe for Impactful Living by Bishop David O. Oyedepo. I read some chapters of the book before going to Church for AYAC.

When I left home for the program

I arrived Church for the program about 30 minutes late, I joined the nearby Church to my house; reaching there I discovered that the number of people in attendance already were just few though some people later joined us.

During the program

After the program I returned home, i rested for some time then helped my wife in the kitchen to prepare lunch for the family. I helped her to cooked swallow (fufu)/Eba) as you can see in the pictures below.

Afterward I continued devouring this book, this book is highly recommended. The book left me with some ponder points among others such as listed below:

1. I learned that we are not a failure, until we look for who to blame for it. I have decided that from henceforth I will begin to take full responsibility of every outcome of my life.

2. I also learned that we are not backward because we are black, we are backwards because we are blind. This I vividly understood that we are behind the limitations we are faced with in life and we must transformed our minds to break such limitations if at all we must make progress.

The rest of my day was spent with my wife and child as fatherhood is not just a name or title but it do comes with responsibilities.
