Dear diary,

Sweeping things

Hunger protest is getting hotter in my country, since the inception of this protest the movement in my area has not been as usual. The State government due to the recent perceived activity of thugs, hoodlums and looters have imposed a 24 hours curfew in my area thereby affecting virtually every usual activity happening in my place. Business shutdowns of both government own and private own (NGO). The bad news here is the fact that the Protest here in my side recorded a number of casualties. The Hunger Protest here has recorded a number of lost of lives and properties.

I couldn't go to my office because of the 24 hours curfew, I end up attending what we call Week of Spiritual Emphasis in a nearby Church branch under our commission. The Church is just some few feet walk from my house. The branch here is in a peaceful area where no protest has been recorded, though the curfew is 24 hours which affect everywhere including our area here; but things seems to be moving find here so the service held.

I woke up early on this day morning and do my usuals, since am not going to office due to the curfew I helped my wife to do some house chores while she prepared lunch.

I spent my day studying and praying for my dear country, I wish my country will get better. You know, though it is too hard to believe may be to some folks; but I do believe that one day my country is going to overcome and things are going to be better.

Later in the evening to be precise, I left home for Week of Spiritual Emphasis which in our commission is observed first full week of every month for prayers and fasting which do commence on Wednesday of such week to Friday of same. The picture here was when I was about living home for the program which I attended in a nearby Branch.
