Steemkids weekly contest #2: The home or the school which should have more influence on the child? Entry by @cinnymartins

Like i said before, am very delighted to be here and to make this entry on school and home which has more influence on the child and i will be writing this from my own experience which i have seen in my little niece.
Firstly in considering school and home which influences your child the more you look at the environment. In my humbly opinion i would say that although family plays a vital role in life of a child, the influence of school on the child weighs far more and i will firstly outline my reasons which include:

1. The influence of peers
2. The sobriety associated with school environment
3. The time factor
4. Manifold distractions at home
5. The "I can do" spirit
   I will go further to explain each of my reasons below and if possible with pictures of my little niece.
   THE INFLUENCE OF PEERS: Research has it that children learn faster both orally and verbally from people of the same peer which are mostly found in the school premises rather than adults. To buttress more on this, i have a little niece by name Zoe who barely knows how to call mummy or Daddy at a year old and who was registered in a montessori school before a year and two, but before clocking a year and six she can almost say beyond that and read ABC and say simple words like water, give me, take it, come here, i want to poo and the rest of it... The power of peer influence.

THE SOBRIETY ASSOCIATED WITH SCHOOL: From what is apparently seen in the education system, school is mainly for business of learning with just a toppings of fun and as such, children tend to do far better in school than at home because teachers are sober about reformation and play around about it... To children, you play at home and learn in school and i will also illustrate this with a my niece's picture

THE TIME FACTOR: By this i mean that the environment that casts much more influence on children is where they spend more time in. Children tends to spend more time in school than at home... For example, my niece goes to school before 7:30am and gets home by 4pm and this obviously explains that most of her time spent is in school and thus school has and ought to have more influence on her.

MANIFOLD DISTRACTIONS AT HOME: By this,i mean that home is not a good place to be sober.

Above is a picture of my niece at home and obviously i can say no home is void of distractions as children engage in so many activities like watching of television, sleeping, playing and some scatters the houses, while others see opportunity to cry as their parents are always ready to look at their faces.

THE "I CAN DO SPIRIT": By this, i mean that children have the tendency to learn easily and by implication tend to try out what they see people of their age doing and also what they see an unknown person that is people who they don't always see at home doing.
I believe my points are appreciated and would go a long way to help kids in school and @steemkids community and having participated in this, i invite my friends
