Changes I will like to see in steemit platform.
I did not only want to make a post on this topic but am equally making a passionate appeal as well to see that whatever each an everyone of us has noted be put into consideration so as to lighten up the platform again.
From what I've known, the steemit platform has lasted for 7 years now and still counting and I happen to join the platform in the year 2021. Needless to say that one of the things that kept in the platform was the bonding ongoing as at that time both virtual and offline. There were instances where we had to hold an offline meeting in a particular venue with our town leader so as to encourage steemians to continue steeming as well as invite new members for our meeting.
Talking about what changes I would like to see in the steemit platform from now henceforth, these few are the top on my list:

Before now, we usually fix a day to go round town and tertiary institution all to let a good number of people know about the platform and equally encourage them to join.
Also, there were times where for instances states like far north in Nigeria where we barely have few steemians are provided with necessarily support to rally and get people to register. The truth is , as minute as these activities may have seem at that point, it brought about an increase in the number of accounts and active participants as well.
Why am I saying these?
I revisited the steemit platform 2 days ago after over a year of taking break to find out that a lot of active and known accounts on the platform has gone dormant for over 5 months now... What do we now say of too many communities in the platform that has gone dormant as a result of only the founder's posts been curated thereby leaving the members with no hope but quitting making efforts in the community.
Again, the number of support from @steemcurator01,@steemcurator02 and the rest has automatically declined to the tiniest minimum as well as the emphasis on quality content. In those days, posts were curated based on which has quality content and not just randomly thereby denying steemians who took time to create quality content full support.
I really wish to see this development dwindle.
Why do you think these changes would help make the platform a better place?
Needless to say that the points I mentioned above has been the bedrock upon which this platform has been built as at the time when it was booming and had a good number of activities rolling in on weekly basis and if brought back again, a lot of steemians that may have dropped due to one or two reason may reconsider trying it out again.
What are the new things you like to put in place if given the opportunity to implement these changes?
Firstly, I would reach out to old members who have lost track of development in the platform and encouraging them to give a hit again. I would equally embark on a more radical rally in my location just to tell more and more people about steemit and with assurance as it used to be.
Also, I would encourage everyone to build their steem power so as to increase their voting power and use this in return to support the post of new members.
Do you thing the reward distribution in steemit is a key factor to the development of the platform?
Yes. The only reason why this platform is still leaving to this point is the reward distribution part which I must commend. The truth is, nobody wants to stay in a community where there is no mutual benefit.
And unlike most platforms that started and the activity on it right now is -1, steemit has maintain this reward distribution which is like it's life wire.
