Social Studies Lesson: Socialization and its Processes

Hello, and welcome to my blog for today. I hope all is really working out, and I hope you are really enjoying your day and week. Today I will be dropping my entry on this very great social studies lesson. The topic today is all about socialization, and now I will be explaining to the class what I have just learned about socialization.

There are many agents of socialization, and I believe that they are family, school, and friends, because these are the first parties or places we meet and interact with each and every day of our lives. That is why I said that they are the first and most important agents of socialization. When it comes to the family, they teach us how to be obedient and how to be a responsible child even when we go out into the world. While the school teaches us how to read and write and gain artificial knowledge, friends are the most common; we all have friends, and they socialize us easily because we will always like to do what our friends are doing.

Meaning of socialization

Just like I just explained briefly at the beginning of the post, socialization is a process by which a child learns how to do certain things through the teaching of those living around him or her. This is to say that every child depends on the people around him or her for help, and as soon as the person begins to grow up, he learns from the people he sees. Other ways to define socialization

Socialization can be defined as a way of teaching a child about the norms, cultures, and ways of doing things of a particular people in such a way that the child grows up in a group of people and automatically learns about their language, food, and culture.

1. Socialization plays a good and important role in making everyone know what a particular community and group of people believe; it will make them know what the people like and dislike in a way that they will choose the good ones that are more appreciated by the people.

2. Also, through socialization, every child will be recognized for the acts of kindness and good deeds they do for the people in the community, and they will be appreciated.

3. Socialization helps every new member of a particular community know and practice what is acceptable, like the culture, rules, and regulations guiding the people.

4. Socialization plays a good role in preparing everyone to know how to communicate and interact with the members of a particular community by first teaching them their language and other things.

5. Socialization plays a good role in helping to make the entire membership of the community know what is right to be done and the roles they will play to see that thing go well in the community.

Socialization, as we all know, takes place in many places, but first there are three places in which we get socialized easily, and they come in a gradual process; these are called the "agnets of socialization."

Education: these are ways in which children get socialized by learning, and this might be formally or informally. This can happen when a child is socialized through a planned process of teaching and learning. It might be in school or any other place that the child is taught, and he or she learns either directly or indirectly.

Family this is a good process of socialization, as we all know that this is really the first agent of socialization, this is a process in which a child is being born to a group of people, when the child is gradually growing he or she learns about that people, he will learn what they do, how they talk and many others things.

Friends, this is another process of socialization. As the child keeps growing and going around the world and making many new friends, they will get socialized easily and will start interacting with the people they find close to them. Another part is that by watching movies, they get socialized with their favorite actors and will sometimes like to do what they do in the movie.

Another part is theight apprenticeship, in this part is when anybody agrees to go into a particular work, and wants to stay under someone, theight these process the person will be socialized and will learn the work.
