What Is Forgiveness
Forgiveness is seen as a process that takes time, patience, and determination. It is a voluntary and an intentional process whereby one who might have felt initially hurt, harmed, wronged or victimised,then goes through a process in changing their attitude and feelings towards a given offender regarding their actions, and then overcomes the influence of the offense.
Forgiveness is not ordinarily accepting what happened or ceasing to be angry but willingly puttingaside resentment.
How Does Forgiveness Unite Family

Forgiveness just like how attention and love is, helps to create a more stronger bond in the family. Forgiveness is one of the great key that every family needs in order to sustain a strong bond. God forgave us of our sins therefore we human should reciprocate the same.
My Story That Describes Forgiveness
A certain time came in the marriage of my aunty that she had to face the pain alone and had no plan on sharingto her family to help her sort her issues. So what happened? On one Sunday night, according to how she described it. She went to a party leaving four of her children behind for the househelp to take care of.
When the husband came back from his business place he realized that his wife wasn't at home, he was like asking the house help and she said that she doesn't know why she haven't come back yet. He kept quiet and waited till when do wife was back. Finally there was a noise on the door and it happened to be the wife knocking the husband sensed that it was his wife so he gave the house help a strict warning not to open the door.
The wife after knocking for about an hour, after that, it happened to that she has a brother living in the same area with her so she slept there for tonight. It was morning, the wife came banging on the door and shouting at the man why he locked her out yesterday and the man almost raise his hand against her before the househelp came and held him and calm their spirit.
The wife not knowing how to settle things amicably took few of her belongings and went to stay with her mom. it what's my mom who advised the woman to go back to her home otherwise the househelp will take over and other women work. The toughest part is that the man and the woman had so much unforgiving heart that they found it so difficult to let go. Having seen how tough it was going my mom decided to talk with the both partners separately and know what the problem was. My mom Lead it into their heart to forgive each other which is the key to keep a home tight in love and oneness.
It wasn't an easy case but finally my mom was able to make them unite again all thanks to the our creator who added that wisdom into her to follow this family.

Your story is so touching I could know what your aunt was going through being locked out of the house. Indeed we must forgive one another we all humans. To err is human and to forgive is divine therefore we must forgive one another in order for peace and joy to remain in the home. What a really awesome topic for discussion you really have here that is filled with a whole lot of things to learn and comprehend also. I was able to pick a lot of things. I have a lot of ideology about forgiveness before because I only always think it is when you are convenient that you should forgive but well today I learnt otherwise that it is not so. We should forgive whether it is convenient for us or not because that is actually what the Lord command us to do and we must actually do it if we really trust and follow God. We must always keep to his commandments. If God can actually command us to forgive and let go. Yes I understand it might actually be difficult but that is difficult doesn't mean it is not possible. There are a lot of families that are suffering from broken homes today due to the fact that they don't learn the act of forgiveness. There are some things that we should not have harbour in our heart that we actually hold on to which should not be so. That is the power of forgiveness. It gives us that peace and helps us to bond more together
