What Is Discipline

In my knowledge and to my understanding, I will describe discipline to be rules attached to behaviour, control, authority etc. It can or might also be referred to as punishment to some people.

Discipline can also be basically said to be an act of training in accordance with rules. That state of order and obedience using the application of training and control.

What Forms Discipline Take In Your Locality?

Below, I have four forms if discipline applied on kids of my locality and they include;

• Supportive Discipline.
• Positive Discipline.
• Corrective Discipline.
• Preventive Discipline.

Supportive Discipline: This form of discipline has to do with the case of a transgression. It normally or always comes as a verbal warning or a suggestion for the correction of a particular displayed behavior.

Positive Discipline: This implies the concept of mutual respect whereby parents sit and talk to their kids wherever they make mistakes.

Corrective Discipline: This form is seen when a student has failed to change from his/ her behavior after so many attempts at supportive discipline. It is oftentimes refered to the outcome given following an infraction.

Preventive Discipline: This particular form of discipline has to do with getting to establish expectations, guidelines etc including classroom rules for behavior in the first days of lessons, so as to carefully prevent disruptions.

What Usually Give Rise To Discipline In Your Locality?

The listed below has given rise to discipline in my locality and they include;
• Getting rid of all distractions.
• Developing the art of leading.
• Regularly communicate and be free with your fellow being.
• Always feel eager to take corrective measures and action.
• Being suggestive by coming up with a set of guidelines.

How Does Kids Respond To Discipline In Your Locality?

Usually not all kids responds to discipline and I will add to it that not all the kids of my locality takes up discipline. Their response can come negatively and positively.

Some of these kids gets to act in an indisciplined manner which depends on the can of hands their parents follow them with. And this can provoke the child to be a very dangerous element to the society.

What Do You Think Is The Best Form Of Discipline To Be Given To A Child?

Talking about the best form of discipline I will suggest to a child, I think I will go with positive and supportive discipline. I will first initiate the positive discipline whereby the parents will be having enough time (scheduled) to talk to their little ones in order to avoid unplanned or unwanted mistakes of any kind.

Then secondly, the supportive discipline where parents supports the ideas created by their little ones to enable them grow and not shrink.

Why Is Discipline Important To A Child's Life?

Without do children will be wild and wayward, not showing respect to the elderly and not giving ears to whatever their parents has to say, they will feel like they have grown to take up responsibility and act anyway they feel like. That is why discipline is initiate into them.

Discipline is important to a child's life which help direct them to the rightful part of life to follow. A society without discipline has failed woefully because those kids are likely to impact negatively to that society and nation.

What Should Be The Right Motive When Discipline Is Given?

Having discipline as the best subject interest is really good. Therefore, our goal should be to seriously help them improve on their attitude and give out good conduct of a particular subject.

The best kind of discipline is solemnly motivated by a sole desire or interest to reform the subject and not through the authority figures desire for personal retaliation.

Conclusion:

Enforcing discipline in a child is one of the best we can do for them. It's not mostly liken to be punishment, we elders, parents, guardians vetc should learn to apply discipline on kids where and when necessary.
