I greet you all today and with greater delight I will be sharing my craft work with you today. I'm kind of pained for missing the last contest series all because of poor network and work too. Leaving all of that behind, I will be presenting my entry according to the contest hints below!..

WHAT IS THE NAME OF WHAT YOU HAVE MADE?

In this week's contest series, I will be crafting a cup that is used in drinking water. Consumable Liquid substances are been taken with cup, be it plastic, glass or ceramics. This particular dinning item(cup) helps us in carrying water for consumption, that is the main reason I have chosen to craft it.

STEPS ON HOW YOU MADE THE CRAFT

In this part, I will show the materials and every step I took in crafting a cup.

• Git Gum.
• Scissors.
• Paper.

Steps To Crafting A Cup

Below are the steps I took to the success of crafting a cup.

Step 1: I first cut out 15cm × 15cm (length and width) of my magazine then I folded it into two, open it up and folded the other side too.

Step 2: Hence this is all about folding, i folded it up equally with the two sides closed inside. Then I opened it up and began folding each edge to touch the middle line.

Step 3:
As I have done it to the both edges, I opened again and folded the both edges and then began pressing the line given on the paper due to folding. I pressed the back side inorder for it to have a shape.

Step 4: I completely opened up the whole folded paper, spotted the side that has a horizontal line due to folding then cut out one side and folded the other on the left side, made use of the same scissors to trim the down part of the other folded side making it look like a curtain like, I also cut out one piece of the trimmed part.

Step 5: I made use of my gum, applied it to the upper side where I cut out one piece down. I glued it together with the other edge.

Step 6: After I have glued it together, I began opening up the down part which now looked like a spin. I use my gum again to gum the spin pieces together (on top of each piece).

Step 7: after I was done with that, I cut out 6cm × 6cm and used it for my handle. I rapped it, applied gum and then fix it to my cup.

I'm totally done with everything concerning the cup craft.

HOW DID YOU GET THE IDEA?

I was skimming through the YouTube channel as I have searched on crafts to make. Seeing how easy and simple making a cup will be for kids to learn. I decided to craft that one.

HOW USEFUL IS WHAT YOU HAVE MADE?

This cup can be used to carry any drinkable substances. It could be juice, water, herbal medicine etc. I equally have this kind of cup I just made but a bigger one.

Drinking through the cup gives it's own natural taste, nourishment and energy. Kids can be able to use this cup to drink any liquid substances they can consume.

WHICH KID DID YOU INSPIRE OR DO YOU INTEND TO INSPIRE AND HELP DEVELOP THE CREATIVITY?

I honestly wish to inspire my Little cousin, Nichelle, who would always use her cup to put anything at all😄even to eat her meal.

She is smart, brilliant and lucrative, if teaching her this craft work will help her grow more, I wouldn't even mind giving her my materials to practice and learn.
