TITLE: Your family favorite moment,which memory your family gathering by@charibaby
INTRODUCTION
Warm greetings to my fellow steemian hope everyone is waxing strong? I will start by saying that the moment I saw this contest,I was very happy and giving accolades to @uzma4882 for organizing this contest
MY FAMILY
My family is made up of husband,four children and myself (mother). We all live together in peace and harmony knowing each other's likes and dislike. We eat our breakfast together before dispatching to our various places of work,
and activities for the day. We come back to still have dinner together . We try as much as we can to do things together, in other to be in unity with one another and to ensure everyone comes home on time just to have dinner as one big family. In other words I will say my entire family are hardworking individuals and we work hard to make ends meet.

Life is full of special moments but I know that there is happiest moment that remains memorable to us as individual even as time passes by. As we struggle working from January to December in the City it still remains the happiest moment when we all travelled together to the village during December time to rest, me in particular it is my happiest and favourite moment in my life because it is also a festive period were we dressed in our best outfit just to go and witnesses our village masquerade performance,and also get to see our good friends that comes home, both from far and near. So many fun things happen during this period of time most of our friends and family fix marriages,burial and party for which, we will all be privileged to attend eating and drinking in harmony with each other.
i will never forget this event organized by the village head it's called (the masquerade fight) .my whole family we were going to the field were several masquerade will come out and wipe each other, of which one of them is expected emerge as the strongest based on the number of strokes of cane the masquerade is able to endure, So on our way as we are getting closer were the event was to take place, we just saw one masquerade pooped out from a nearby bush with plenty of cane in his hand before I will turn around I noticed everyone has run away leaving me with my grandmother standing in front of the masquerade, I have to stand and hide beside my grandmother watching her hail the masquerade not to flog me and later she gave him small money just to allow us pass bearing in mind that they respect the elderly.though I was engrossed in fear but I later laughed my self out watching the same scenario happened to another person.
AFTER THE EVENT
On arrival to the house every one was happy about the event but suddenly my grand mother started laughing at me, and she said I should call her my hero,because she helped me from the hand of that masquerade and my other siblings and children's started narrating how they saw the masquerade how fast they were able to run just as there leg will be able to carry them, just as to find a place to hide until the masquerade passed. So traveling during these period is very memorable to my family no matter how challenging things should get, we all don't like missing the opportunity to travel during this period of time.
In conclusion I must say , most of the festive periods in our community/village it brings the entire family together and more of the entire village as a whole. I will like to thank everyone that read through. I invite @ngoenyi,@mesola and @mateenfatima
