Update #73: Writing Expedition ✍️, Have Fun while Writing! Construction of Shoes Using Waste Carton.

Hi Steemians! How are you today? I hope you are as fine as I am. I am glad to participate in this week's contest titled "Update #73: Writing Expedition ✍️, Have Fun while Writing! Choose From Varieties Of Topics". I appreciate @steemkidss and the Steam kids & parents community for organising this contest. Today I shall be constructing a pair of shoes with a waste carton.

A shoe is an outer covering for the human foot typically having a thick or stiff sole with an attached heel and an upper part of lighter material (such as leather).

Materials used for drawing
The materials I use for constructing the pair of shoes are:

1. Used carton
2. Pencil
3. Eraser
4. Paper cutter
5. Measuring tape
6. Ruler
7. Evostik gum
8. Scissors
9. Sandpaper
10. Black and white embossed paper.

Stages of the drawing
Step 1
I began my construction from the outer sole of the shoe. I took my measurements and cut them into six pieces of the same measurement. After cutting, I assembled them and gummed them together to form the sole of the shoe.

Step 2
I took measurements of the top layer of the shoe. I cut it out and duplicated it so that one would be for the left leg and the other for the right.

Step 3
I peeled one side of the top layer to enable the carton to fold easily and gummed it on the inner sole of the shoe.

Step 4
I measured the toe tip, cut it out and had it gummed on the inner sole

Step 5
Here I took the measurement of the tongue, cut it out and have it gummed appropriately.

Step 6
I measured the eye stay. I have it cut and gummed on the shoe.

Step 7
I gummed the top layer on the outer sole and used my sandpaper to blend it.

Step 8
I cut a white embossed paper and gummed it on the sole of the shoe. I also cut black embossed paper and gummed it around the shoe at the point where the top layer is connected with the sole.

Step 9
I measured and cut the shoe belt, I also cut the eyelets. I gummed the shoe belt on the shoe and also gummed the Secure hook and loop closure. I also put black embossed paper and gummed it as the backstay of the shoe.

Step 10
I make tiny holes to serve as stitches in the shoe
