Hello, esteemed Steemit family! How are you today? Hope you are fine. I am glad to participate in this contest titled Update #69: Writing Expedition ✍️, Have Fun while Writing! Choose From a variety of Topics. Today I shall be drawing Santa Claus popularly known as Father Christmas. Special appreciation to @steemkidss and the Steem kids & parents community for organising this contest. I hope you will enjoy my participation.

Santa Claus is a Christmas character who is said to bring gifts before and during Christmas. The legendary figure puts on red and a combination Of white as he shares gifts to the children and the needy. Santa Claus is also called Father Christmas. Children love Santa Claus so much because of the Gifts he gives them.

Materials used in the drawing

Step 1
I began my drawing from the cap. After the cap, I drew the face of Santa and on the face, I drew the mouth, nose, eye and the eyeglass

Step 2
I draw the beard, the two hands, the big stomach and the belt he ties to the shirt.

Step 3
At this stage, I draw the two legs and the shoes he is wearing.

Step 4
Here I draw a muffler in his left hand.

Step 5
I draw the big bag he hanged at his bag holding it with his right hand.

Step 6
I drew gifts in the bag he hung.

Step 7
I coloured the shirt he is wearing and the belt he ties. I use red and black colours respectively. For the head of the belt, I use yellow colour.

Step 8
I used red colour to coloured the cap and the bag

Step 9
I coloured the rope holding the bag and all the gifts inside the bag

Step 10
I coloured the trouser and shoes he is wearing. For the trouser, I coloured it red and for the shoes, I coloured them brown.

Step 11
I coloured the muffler in his hand "yellow colour".

Step 12
This is the last stage of the drawing. Here I coloured the face of Santa lightly using orange colour. I coloured his eyelid black, coloured his mouth, his eyeglass and arranged his beard.
