Let's do it...Do It Yourself👉Craft, Creativity, Drawing, origami, DIY, Recycling and more

Hello steemians how are you today? I hope you are as fine as I am. I want to thank the steemkids & parent community and also @mesola for organising this contest and sustaining it. Today I want to participate in this contest by crafting three African women on waste cartons for home decoration. I do hope that both parents and kids in this community will like and appreciate the craftwork.

Step 1
I began my craft by first measuring the size of A4 paper on my carton. After that, I drew the first woman beginning from her head, down to her neck and her two hands. I then drew her body down to her legs.

Step 2
I used my paper cutter to cut the drawing of the first woman.

Here I drew the second woman. I start from her head, the calabash on her head, the neck and her two hands holding the calabash on her head. I drew her breast and other parts of her body.

Step 7
I formed a frame by cutting out cartons 1.5 inches wide. The frame is a size of A4 paper. When I fish the frame I duplicate it into two.

I used a 1.5-inch wide by 7.2 inches length carton to connect the two frames.

Step 12
I shaded the frame of my craft using black acrylic. I placed the craft on a piece of paper while colouring to avoid permanent stains on other objects

Step 13
I coloured all the women black using black acrylic and I also sealed the edge of the frame both in and out with masking tape to cover the rough edge or holes that are at the edge of the carton.

Step 14
I used my white poster colour to draw the necklaces, earrings, edge of the women rappers, head tie hand bangles and leg beads. This brought me to the end of my craft work for this contest.
