Contest alert- All-in-one contest WK3: Drawing of a school boy with textbooks

Greetings criends. How are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. I am delighted to participate in this week's contest titled Contest alert- All in one contest WK3: Food challenge and Writing expedition contest update. Because it is a community for kids and parents, I have decided to make a drawing of a school boy returning some textbooks to the shelf. I dedicate this piece of art to all the kids in the community, and I am sure that the parents will also like it.

Materials for the drawing

• Plain white paper
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Crayola colour
• Black Pen

Step 1
I began by drawing the head of the boy. I first drew the outline of the boy's hair, followed by the forehead, the cheek and the lower jaw. I then drew the ear, the mouth, and the nose and concluded with the mouth using a pencil.

Step 2
I drew the sleeve of the boy's shirt, followed by his hand, and lastly, I drew the remaining parts of the shirt.

Step 3
I drew seven copies of the textbooks arranged from the biggest in the boys' hands.

Step 4
I completed the pencil work by drawing the short trousers, the legs and the shoes of the boy.

Step 5
I traced the entire drawing using a black pen, which I started from the head down to the shoes on his legs, making the drawing more visible.

Step 6
I coloured the seven textbooks in his hands. I began with blue, followed by yellow, green, red, purple and concluded with a green colour.

Week 7
I coloured the boy's shirt using yellow and the trousers with purple.

Step 8
I used an orange colour for the skin of the boy. So, I began with the legs followed by the hands and concluded with the face.

Step 9
Here, I coloured the eyes of the boy using a black pen and green colour. Lastly, I coloured the hair on his head.

Here, I coloured the big shoes of the boy using brown and white colours. I also wrote my name and date on the paper.
