Greetings to everyone in this highly esteemed community that made it possible for kids to have their own special interactive ground here in steemit. When I joined steemit newly, I was reserved to thinking that steemit in general is for adults who have intrinsic knowledge about the platform and personally, I didn't see steemit as a social Media platform then until I came to discovered steem kids community and other Community's discord group. I'm proud to say that despite the pressure not to waste my time here, I have actually achieved a lot of which many are looking for. With steemit social Media platform, I'm now able to express myself socially officially and academically. . The skills I learnt and numerous but I'll mention a few. I for once in my life had the opportunity to learn cryptocurrency here in steemit of which many don't have the opportunity. I have become an effective and eloquent writer. At first I didn't have a flair for writing but she meets both my morals and vocabulary and also improve my writing skills that now writing is a pleasure to me. In this writing, I'm going to tell you guys the creative art I've learnt from this platform and why I like it. I will also teach us a skill I learnt from this platform. Since this contest is about skills learnt in steemit as a whole and not just restricted to steem kids, I would love to showcase this talent of mine which is now helping me in a long-lasting skill.

How long have I been on Steemit?

I've been on this platform for 9 months. I joined steemit on July 2021 but since I didn't know my left from right, I decided to quit the platform. I was inactive on steemit for for good morning because I didn't have a guide. Worst still, I made about four post in the platform without seeing votes. That alone drove away the enthusiasm from me and made me lackadaisical that I even refused to check my search engine and learn how it operates. I was inactive until the admin of this group @ngoenyi drove that motivation zeal and spirit of consistency in me. She really help me in learning the basics of steemit and how to make quality posts. I took this lesson seriously and guess what, I got back with full Force on steemit on November 2021 and my first diary game post was selected as quality post. From that day on, I became an active user in the platform and also advertised the platform.

What creative art have I learnt from this platform and why do I like it?

I've learnt numerous creative arts in this platform. How to make flowers animals and clothes using paper is the creative arts I've learnt so far of which and being focus on this three. Although I'm not consistent into which is flowers and animals, I'm consistent and more focus on one which is on the clothes aspects. Through this platform I've learnt how to make ladies shoes, men's suits, shirt, tie and trousers. This creative art help me in knowing how to design real fabrics in the designing/sewing skill I'm into this is why I like it. Here are some of my achievements...

How to make children's toy using paper

• Step 1:
  Take out a sizable cardboard and take measurements of (8 × 8)cm, that is, 8cm on the length and 8 cm on the width using a metre rule. After taking measurements of 8 pieces, you then start out with one piece of cardboard.

• Step 2:
  Fold the cardboard angularly and not straight. Fold both edges to meet each other. The essence of this is for the lines to show. After folding, you keep the cardboard straight and then fold the four edges to touch the Central point.

• Step 3:
  After folding the edges to meet the central point,
  Fold the edges on the horizontal line. Make sure you fold both sides. After folding, you fold the bottom to the back and then fold the cardboard inwards as if you are closing it, don't fold the top inside, not totally inside. The must be a small protruding part.

• Step 4:
  Do same for the eight other pieces and then arrange them. Put the two legs of a piece into the two openings of another piece as shown below. Do this way until you join the eight or seven pieces together. And there goes their toy..... I so much appreciate art because it makes things unique in their own way..
